Job Title: Architectural Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team at Doug Tarry Homes. As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the design and development of our construction projects.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD), analyzing technical documents and reports, and assisting in supervising construction projects. You will also be responsible for writing specifications, monitoring and inspecting work, and preparing presentation graphics and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create 3-D models with CAD software
  • Analyze technical documents and reports
  • Assist in supervising construction projects
  • Write specifications
  • Monitor and inspect work
  • Prepare presentation graphics and drawings
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position in an urban area. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure.
