Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Schreiber Pharmacy.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for assisting our pharmacists with various tasks, including preparing medications, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare medications for clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain inventory of medications and prescription records
  • Enter client information into databases
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow
  • Bill third-party insurers
  • Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams
  • Interpret physician's specifications
Work Environment:

The Pharmacy Technician will work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions.

Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education in pharmacy technology or a related field
  • Experience in a pharmacy setting is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
