At MTU Maintenance Canada Ltd, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our team in Delta, BC. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Programs department by maintaining current in-house tools for improvement projects, supporting digitalization for value stream mapping, and being a liaison with the IT department for RPA (Robotic process automation).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve in-house tools for improvement projects
  • Support digitalization efforts for value stream mapping
  • Collaborate with the IT department for RPA implementation
  • Support process definition and optimization
  • General Support: Prepare presentations, compile data for analysis, etc.

Requirements:

A 3rd or 4th year student of a degree in data analysis, I.T., or industrial engineering with a strong interest in the Aviation Industry. In addition, the following skills are preferred:

  • Prior CO-OP or internship experience
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data processing systems
  • Strong communicator who can work well in a team
  • Interest in the aviation industry
  • Previous experience with SAP or RPA considered an asset
  • Value stream mapping or Lean experience considered an asset.
