Job Title: Food and Beverage Server

Wimpy's Diner is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team. As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
  • Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
  • Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Provide customer service
  • Train staff
  • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
  • Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
  • Serve food and beverages
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically demanding work
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Work under pressure
