Position Overview

Ajax Creative is on the lookout for several skilled and imaginative Freelance Illustrators to enrich our creative roster on a project-by-project basis. As a Freelance Illustrator, your role will involve crafting visually striking illustrations that resonate with our clients' aspirations and project objectives. You will collaborate closely with directors, writers, and fellow creatives to ensure that every project reflects our commitment to artistic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and design high-quality illustrations in accordance with project briefs and narratives.
  • Engage with directors, writers, and team members to grasp project needs and goals.
  • Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator or Procreate to create professional-grade illustrations.
  • Maintain consistency in illustrations with the project's style, tone, and visual standards.
  • Revise and enhance illustrations based on client feedback and internal evaluations.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in illustration to infuse innovative concepts into each project.
  • Handle multiple projects concurrently, ensuring the timely delivery of exceptional illustrations.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as an Illustrator or in a comparable role, with a robust portfolio showcasing your expertise.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard illustration tools such as Adobe Illustrator or Procreate.
  • Solid understanding of illustration fundamentals, including composition, color theory, and narrative techniques.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for visual quality and aesthetics.
