Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at PointClickCare, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our cloud-based healthcare software. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Identifying, prioritizing, and executing tasks in the software development life cycle
  2. Collaborating with business stakeholders to iterate over software requirements
  3. Developing tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
  4. Automating tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
  5. Analyzing and debugging systems
  6. Performing validation and verification testing in a test-driven manner
  7. Reviewing the work of others and inviting others to review your work
  8. Collaborating with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
  9. Ensuring software is up-to-date with the latest technologies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience writing clean code that performs well at scale using Java
  2. In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL)
  3. Solid experience writing RESTful API endpoints
  4. Experience with UI development and frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, React, Angular)
  5. Proficient in GIT
  6. Experience using system and performance monitoring tools (e.g. AppDynamics, New Relic, DataDog)
  7. Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured)
  8. Excellent organization, critical-thinking, and personal leadership skills
  9. Self-starter with the ability to deliver with minimal supervision
  10. Being okay with the uncomfortable feeling that comes from learning new things
  11. Team player
  12. Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  13. Proven experience as a great Engineer
  14. BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree

  1. Experience with React
  2. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio
  3. Experience with Cypress, Selenium
  4. Experience with Ansible
  5. Experience with TDD
  6. Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipeline
  7. Linux and IP networking knowledge
  8. Experience with AWS/Azure cloud services or equivalent
  9. Experience with SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
  10. Experience working on a SaaS product
  11. Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture
  12. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy
  13. On-call experience with production-grade systems
  14. Has mentored others in a professional setting
