About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Best Pro Drywall Ltd. as a Drywall Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced drywall installers with various tasks related to drywall construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Safely load and unload drywall panels, joint compound, and other materials from trucks and storage areas.
  • Erecting and Dismantling Forms: Assist in the setup and removal of drywall forms, scaffolding, and other equipment as needed.
  • Mixing and Applying Joint Compound: Mix and apply joint compound to drywall seams and joints, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Cleaning and Piling Materials: Clean and organize drywall panels, joint compound, and other materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Removing Debris: Remove debris and rubble from construction sites, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Operating Equipment: Assist in the operation of drywall saws, sanders, and other equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) regularly.
  • Work Conditions: The work environment is physically demanding and may involve repetitive tasks.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: The work schedule is 40 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off as needed.
