10042749 Canada Inc is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to create a solid foundation for our construction projects.
  • Taping and Finishing: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
  • Compound Application: Apply successive coats of compound to drywall seams and joints, and smooth out excess compound to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Scaffolding and Equipment: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access to work areas.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements and ensure accurate installation.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments.
  • Work Setting: Commercial, industrial, and various locations.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
