We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Blossoms@Bellevue Academy Inc.

Job Summary

The ECE Assistant will provide support to our early childhood educators and supervisors in maintaining a safe and engaging environment for children. This role involves assisting with daily tasks, developing and implementing child-care programs, and engaging children in activities that promote their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities
  • Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Dental plan and health care plan
  • Permanent position
  • 40 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of work
