About the Opportunity

The Information Security team at Wind River is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing cybersecurity risk models, conducting technology risk assessments, and performing control monitoring.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Participate in the design and development of new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks, as well as support the implementation of new security solutions.
  • Investigations and Resolution: Participate in investigations into anomalous activity and assist with plans for appropriate resolution.
  • Network Analysis: Analyze network packet information, Windows and Linux/UNIX OS system data, executable file data, host data, IDS/IPS logs, net flow, and metadata to identify and characterize anomalies.
  • Forensic Investigations and Malware Analysis: Perform forensic investigations and malware analysis.
  • Tool Development and Optimization: Assist in the development and optimization of new and existing tools and techniques to enhance analytic capabilities.
  • Security Sensor Tuning: Assist in tuning existing security sensors.
  • Data Loss Prevention: Validate and triage Data Loss Prevention events.
  • Incident Response: Participate in the coordination of resources during incident response efforts.
  • Vulnerability Assessments: Complete vulnerability assessments.
  • Security Training: Train users on security fundamentals and best practices.
  • IT Security Metrics: Track and publish IT security metrics.
  • Problem Ownership: Own problems from discovery to resolution with assistance from a Senior Security Analyst as needed.
Who You'll Work With:
  • The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and IT senior management to implement an ongoing technology roadmap to support cyber operations and integrate new technologies into the overall architecture.
  • With global responsibilities, you will work and collaborate with client groups across the company to enhance Wind River's cyber security posture.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
  • Min 5 years overall IT experience with at least three (3) years dedicated cyber/information security experience.
  • Infrastructure knowledge in one or more of the following: clients (windows, linux), servers, storage, data protection, databases, or networking.
  • Understanding of vulnerability scanning technology, and/or reports.
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: 0-day APT protection appliances, Next-Gen Firewall systems, Vulnerability scanning suites, DLP, Forensic investigation and Imaging tools, Security focused Linux distributions.
  • Security certifications such as CSIS, CEH, CSTA, CSTP, GCFE, CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, or GPEN a plus.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying areas of improvement.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Able to be flexible with regards to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must be able to satisfy ITAR compliance requirements.
