Job Summary:

The Construction Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing construction projects from start to finish. This includes preparing and submitting budget estimates, hiring and supervising subcontractors, planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones, and monitoring progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Estimating: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Subcontractor Management: Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Contract Management: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Budget Management: Plan and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Purchase and Acquisition: Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Quality Programs: Develop and implement quality control programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Data Analysis: Oversee the analysis of data and information, providing insights for project improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports, providing stakeholders with project updates and progress.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Work Setting: Various locations
  • Language: English
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
