We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter and Renovation Specialist to join our team at Armoured Touch Inc. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed layouts and plans in accordance with building codes and regulations, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to create high-quality structures and renovations.
- Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring precise fit and finish.
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
- Supervise and lead a team of workers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various settings.
- 3-4 years of experience in carpentry and renovation, with a strong background in construction and project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high expectations.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) training and certification.
- Working at Heights training and certification.
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
