CG Senior Designer Opportunity

Atomic Cartoons Inc. is seeking a highly skilled CG Senior Designer to join our Vancouver studio. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating diverse characters, locations, environments, and props for a CG production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality visual assets for a CG animated series.
  • Collaborate with the art director and design team to ensure consistency and quality in design.
  • Participate in department meetings to discuss project progress and goals.
  • Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Share ideas and collaborate with the design team to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience working on a CG animated feature or television series in a design role.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your understanding of art fundamentals, including structure, composition, and design principles.
  • A diverse portfolio that showcases a wide range of styles, including cartoon and realistic examples.
  • Excellent visual skills and attention to detail.
  • A willingness to work in a team and take direction.
  • Experience designing characters and using Blender is an asset.
  • Currently legally eligible to work in Canada.

We take into consideration a wide range of compensation factors, including background, skills, location, and experience, to determine competitive pay. Our expected pay range for this position is $1,400—$1,600 CAD per week.
