Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our team at York Marble. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management: Compile and process orders received from customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory levels, tracking shipments and monitoring stock levels to prevent overstocking or understocking.
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate the operational logistics of the organization, including coordinating activities with other work units or departments.
  • Material Requisition: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Warehouse Management: Organize and maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months or equivalent experience
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
