The Senior Financial Analyst at World Animal Protection is pivotal in ensuring the effective and compliant management of financial operations. This role encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities, including overseeing daily accounting functions such as banking, invoicing, supplier payments, payroll, and month-end reconciliations. The incumbent will assist the finance manager in generating precise financial statements and contribute to the development of budgets, forecasts, and analyses that support the organization's mission. A crucial aspect of this position is maintaining the integrity of financial records and working closely with the fundraising team to reconcile donations and other revenue streams.

Beyond technical accounting expertise, the ideal candidate will exhibit strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adept problem-solving capabilities. A post-secondary degree in a relevant field is required, along with experience in the financial sector, ideally within the charitable domain. Proficiency in financial software, including Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and online banking platforms, is essential. The successful applicant will excel in a dynamic environment, possess outstanding communication skills, and embody the organization's core values, including diversity, inclusion, and accountability. This role is essential in advancing World Animal Protection's mission to effect lasting change for animal welfare worldwide.
