Role Responsibilities:

The Junior School program at CIS Ontario is characterized by opportunities for students to thrive in a diverse, stimulating, and supportive atmosphere. Our teaching facilities are well-equipped, offering bright and technology-enhanced environments.

Experienced educators in the Primary/Junior divisions are expected to be adept in curriculum development and to employ teaching methods that align with how girls learn. They should support all learners through diverse strategies and approaches, utilizing appropriate solutions for learning challenges. Educators are encouraged to leverage technology to enhance student learning. Classes are designed to be engaging and dynamic, and educators should be approachable, knowledgeable, and supportive.

As integral members of the Junior School faculty, educators are expected to collaborate collegially and maintain open, collaborative relationships with parents, recognizing their vital role in their daughters' education. As lifelong learners, they should actively pursue professional development opportunities and engage in the broader life of the school beyond the classroom.
