Job Title: Family Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at Springwood Specialty And Compounding Pharmacy. As a Family Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough examinations, and developing treatment plans to address a wide range of health issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations to diagnose and treat various health conditions
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the best course of treatment
  • Consult with other medical professionals to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed
  • Perform routine surgeries and assist in more complex procedures
  • Participate in healthcare policy and planning to improve patient outcomes
  • Advise patients on healthy lifestyle choices and provide education on various health topics
  • Act as a patient advocate to ensure their needs are met
  • Provide emergency care and acute management services
  • Offer counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
Requirements:
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Previous experience in family medicine or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
