Position Overview:

We are seeking a Functional QA Tester to contribute to our projects. This role involves on-site responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, document, and sustain automated testing assets.
  2. Ensure compliance with software engineering best practices and standards.
  3. Facilitate Continuous Integration and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  4. Apply Test Driven Design (TDD) principles to test and troubleshoot automated solutions and custom tools.
  5. Support Functional Testing for Health & Welfare administration platforms.
  6. Comprehend testing requirements and design effective test scripts for the assigned product.
  7. Participate in Requirement & Design walkthrough sessions with clients and developers.
  8. Execute test cases as part of functional and regression testing processes.
  9. Document and track defects using Quality Center/JIRA and maintain defect reports.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in Functional and Manual Testing, including Test plan creation and execution.
  2. 5+ years of experience with Developer Tools and Automation-ITSM UI Development.
  3. 5+ years of experience with ITSM Tool-JavaScript.
  4. 1-3 years of experience with Java/JEE.
  5. 1-3 years of experience with Core Java.
  6. 1-3 years of experience in Automation Testing using Client UFT/QTP or Selenium Tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience with Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite) Primary Benefits (OAB) module.
  2. 5+ years of experience in ERP Test Automation for Packaged Applications.
  3. 1-3 years of experience with Oracle Forms Testing (Oracle ERP - E-Business Suite - Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB) module).
  4. Strong understanding of the Quality Assurance testing lifecycle, including writing test plans/strategies and executing manual and functional testing.
  5. Ability to conduct technical and functional analysis of business requirements and translate them into QA test plans.
  6. Proficient in database testing, including writing SQL scripts.
  7. Experience in an agile environment, familiar with JIRA, Xray, Confluence, and related tools and processes.
  8. Experienced in manual and automated testing of Web Services using API testing tools like SOATest, SOAPUI, or REST.
  9. Familiarity with Soap UI, Postman, API, and JSON.
  10. Experience in manual testing of Web Services or creating Web Services Automation scripts using Selenium or Sahi (not record and playback).
  11. Knowledge of testing frameworks and unit testing (such as JUnit testing).
  12. Proficient in scripting languages such as JavaScript, VB Script, or others.
  13. Experience in Object-Oriented technologies is a plus.
  14. Experience with Selenium is a definite asset.
  15. Familiarity with browser Developer Tools for inspecting elements.
