About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Professional to join our team at Mr. Klean Cleaning Services. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in various settings.

Responsibilities
  • General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Specialized Cleaning: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on facilities, address customers' complaints or concerns, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linen: Launder clothing and household linens and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable, criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, driver's validity license check, driving record check (abstract), and reference required.
  • Transportation: Own transportation, own vehicle, vehicle supplied by employer, willing to travel, willing to travel regularly, valid driver's license, travel expenses paid by employer, and public transportation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, overtime required, sitting, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Between 45 and 60 kg (lbs).
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
