Key Responsibilities- Provide nutrition assessment, goal setting, intervention, and counseling to pediatric patients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
- Stay up-to-date with current developments and research in pediatric nutrition.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics or nutrition from a recognized university.
- Completion of a dietetic internship recognized by the Dietitians of Canada and the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
- Registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
- Restricted Activities A & C are required.
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient pediatric counseling is highly recommended.
