Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Stocker to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our produce department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zone and rotate produce stock to ensure optimal freshness and presentation.
  • Conduct regular checks for expired or spoiled products and remove them from the sales floor.
  • Verify that all merchandise is properly signed, priced, and labeled.
  • Adhere to strict standards and policies for cold chain compliance, including thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, and food handling procedures.
  • Follow proper sanitation and cleaning procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Process orders, clearance, markups, and markdowns in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure that the produce department is fully stocked and ready for business.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a retail or stockroom environment an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
