The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the retail team at Spencer Gifts - Spirit Halloween, responsible for driving sales and profitability in our stores. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop staff to deliver exceptional Guest Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve Guest Services.
  • Control expenses and shrinkage, and maintain accurate inventory control.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
  • Prior retail and management experience required.
  • Ability to work in excess of 8 hours standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
