Job Title: Web Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Manager to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development and maintenance of our website, ensuring it meets the needs of our users and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients to develop and document website requirements.
  • Design and integrate website-related code.
  • Develop website architecture.
  • Write, modify, and test website-related code.
  • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code.
  • Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions.
  • Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
  • Source, select, and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the website.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop website graphics, content, capacity, and interactivity.
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls.
  • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications.
  • Manage incidents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment:

On-site work.

Salary:

$36.50/hour, 40 hours per week.

Terms of Employment:

Permanent employment, full-time.

Start Date:

As soon as possible.
