About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Child Care Provider to join our team at Norma Balista. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Development: Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Household Management: Manage the household, including light housekeeping, cleaning, and meal preparation, to ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for children.
  • Education and Enrichment: Engage children in educational activities, such as homework assistance, reading, and other learning experiences, to promote their cognitive development.
  • Transportation and Errands: Transport children to and from school, appointments, and other activities, as needed.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open communication with parents and other caregivers to ensure a smooth and coordinated approach to child care.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in child care or a related field.
  • Skills: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment, and reliability.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a home-based setting, providing care and support to children in a comfortable and safe environment. Optional accommodation may be available at no charge on a live-in basis.
