Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide primary care to patients, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and prescribing medications. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough physical exams and take medical histories
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
  • Prescribe medications and order laboratory tests as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Experience in primary care or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
