Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Cook to join our culinary team. As a Senior Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet the needs of our residents.
- Work collaboratively with our dietary team to plan and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, responding to their needs and preferences in a timely and professional manner.
- Previous experience in cooking and food preparation, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and preferences, including vegetarian, gluten-free, and other special diets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders.
