As a Personal Support Worker at Robert Grant McGregor, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by providing essential personal care and support in their homes.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
Our organization offers optional accommodation at no cost on a live-in basis, although this is not a requirement for employment. You will primarily work in the client's home, ensuring a comfortable and supportive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities- Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
- Administer prescribed medications as needed.
- Assist clients with bathing and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Encourage and assist clients in regular physical activities, such as walking.
- Support clients during meal times, including feeding assistance.
- Handle laundry and maintain household linens.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with shopping for groceries and household necessities.
