Join Our Team as a Pediatric Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our team at Resource Ability. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with medical needs in their home communities throughout British Columbia.

About the Role

This is a casual position that offers flexibility and autonomy. You will work independently to provide nursing respite to children with complex care needs, supporting them to live at home with their families and attend school.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to children with medical needs in their home communities
  • Work independently to assess and meet the needs of each child
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to support each child's unique needs
  • Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments in pediatric care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current practicing registration with BCCNM
  • Valid CPR 'C' / BLS certification or better
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
