Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Financial Services Director to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Commercial Financial Services team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with large commercial clients, providing superior business, financial, and credit advice to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Credit Structuring and Delivery: Collaborate with client relationship managers to structure, deliver, and close loan transactions, including credit submissions to Group Risk Management and transaction presentations to clients.
  • Portfolio Quality Oversight: Manage all aspects of the credit approval process, including ComCom and GRM, and develop strong working relationships with National Office personnel and risk managers.
  • Business Development: Actively develop, strengthen, and deepen client relationships, and engage with key RBC partners to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum three years' experience in commercial lending at a major financial institution.
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance, with strong quantitative, financial modeling, and analytical skills.
  • Skills: Strong skills with Microsoft Office, experience with emerging resources, communications, and technology, and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certifications: MBA, CPA, or CFA, or equivalent experience.
