Job Summary

Titmouse is seeking a skilled 2D animator to join our team for an adult animated comedy series. As a 2D animation specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality animation sequences, working closely with the animation director to bring the project to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality 2D animation sequences by developing storytelling poses and maintaining consistency
  • Animate scenes from rough to clean and complete work within scheduled deadlines
  • Perform one or more passes of revisions based on client/director feedback
  • Draw in Adobe Animate to create designs/poses for animation sequences and layouts
  • Understand storytelling through character emotion/movement
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an animator on a 2D series (Adobe Animate)
  • Strong sense of animation basics, acting, staging, posing, timing, and ability to stay on model
  • Strong drawing skills are essential
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated initiative
  • Good organizational skills - able to prioritize to meet goals or deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment and manage time wisely
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, adaptable
  • Welcome constructive criticism from client/directors to improve scenes
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner
  • Sense of style or artistry with a creative mindset and passion for arts
  • Maintain confidentiality over all matters and proprietary information
  • Eligible to work in the Titmouse office
Software Skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Animate
  • Ability to quickly learn essential new software applications
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Animation suite; including After Effects pertaining to layer, mattes, camera, effects, and rendering
  • Ability and aptitude for creative problem-solving to assemble the final shot
