Barista (Casual) Role Summary

Combine Cafe & Bar is seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve beverages to standard recipes or customized customer requests.
  • Prepare food items, such as sandwiches and baked goods, and grind and blend coffee beans.
  • Package food and beverages for sale and manage cash float and balance accurately.
  • Clean and restock coffee bar and dining areas, and sanitize equipment and utensils.
  • Learn about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
  • Update signage and displays to attract customers and take inventory and replenish items in display cases.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior Barista experience considered an asset.
  • Foodsafe Level 1 certificate would be considered an asset.
