Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic IT security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and a keen eye for detail to effectively protect our organization's information assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from various tools and systems to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Lead investigations and responses to security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Conduct regular threat assessments and vulnerability scans to stay ahead of emerging threats.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends and threats, applying this knowledge to enhance our security posture.
- Assist in developing and implementing security policies and guidelines to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security and vigilance.
- Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
- Prepare reports on our security posture for management review, highlighting areas of strength and weakness.
- Collaborate closely with IT, development, and operations teams to integrate security into our processes and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 23 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong track record of success.
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP or CISM, are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Azure, KQL, and Microsoft Sentinel, with experience in implementing and managing these technologies.
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR, with a proven ability to integrate them into our security ecosystem.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork.
- Knowledge of scripting languages and cybersecurity frameworks, with experience in applying these skills to real-world problems.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR or HIPAA, is a plus.
