  3. Champion innovative practices and quality enhancements to ensure service delivery meets regional and provincial standards.
  4. Ensure safety performance among staff and develop strategies to mitigate work-related incidents.
  5. Communicate effectively with staff regarding corporate and departmental operations, ensuring they are well-informed to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  6. Conduct performance evaluations to ensure adherence to established standards, medical protocols, and policies, thereby guaranteeing quality patient care.

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP) approved program and hold registration with The Alberta College of Paramedics, maintaining good standing. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Emergency Service role within a sizable and diverse organization is required. A valid Alberta Class 4 Operators License with a clean driving record is essential.

Additional Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with a client-focused approach to service delivery. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including decision-making, coaching, and the ability to inspire confidence in others, are crucial. The candidate should also have a proven track record in managing change and developing innovative solutions for complex challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

An undergraduate or graduate degree in management, healthcare administration, business, or leadership is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
