About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at Georama Growers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our water supply and waste management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Design and Planning
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of our plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Project Management
    • Prepare tenders and quotations for plumbing projects.
    • Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for efficient project execution.
  • Installation and Maintenance
    • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
    • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
    • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
  • Supervision and Estimation
    • Supervise other workers to ensure compliance with safety protocols and project deadlines.
    • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in plumbing or a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment at Georama Growers.
