Position Overview:
The Lead Treasury Operations Specialist will focus on overseeing the organization's cash management and liquidity strategies, improving banking operations, and facilitating financial forecasting and planning initiatives. This role requires a dynamic and motivated professional with a broad skill set, strong financial insight, and the capability to manage significant project responsibilities.
Key Objectives & Deliverables in the Initial 3 Months:
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's intricate structure.
- Establish robust relationships with essential finance and cross-departmental stakeholders.
- Achieve proficiency in financial modeling and assist in capital budgeting and planning.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage short-term global cash projections and monitor cash investment activities across corporate entities and business divisions.
- Generate treasury reports for senior management, summarizing cash and debt positions for U.S. and Canadian operations.
- Oversee credit facilities and letters of credit for corporate entities and business divisions.
- Administer quarterly debt covenant and compliance reporting, while nurturing relationships with banking partners and internal teams.
- Enhance budgeting and planning processes, assist with contributions and distributions, and support treasury operations, including updating Know Your Customer documentation and managing banking platforms.
Qualifications We Seek:
- 3-5 years of experience in treasury management.
- Familiarity with Yardi or Kyriba is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- CPA, CFA, or CTP certification is preferred.
- Understanding of the real estate sector is beneficial.
- Expertise in advanced Excel functionalities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
