Registration Services Specialist

Job Summary:
The Registration Services Specialist plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the Office of the Registrar by providing exceptional service and advice to a diverse client base, including current and prospective students, external stakeholders, and college staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process registrations for new and returning students, ensuring accuracy and compliance with college policies and Ministry guidelines.
- Maintain the integrity of registration records and student data within the Student Information System (SIS), ensuring timely updates and adherence to established deadlines.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on admissions and registration policies and processes, leveraging in-depth knowledge of systems, processes, and policies.
- Respond to complex registration inquiries from a broad range of stakeholders, utilizing sound judgment and diplomacy to resolve issues and provide accurate information.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication with clients.
- Stay up-to-date with college policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to provide exceptional service and support.
Requirements:
- Three-year diploma or degree in Business/Office Administration, Systems Analysis, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum three years' experience in a busy, fast-paced customer service environment, with a focus on processing complex information and providing guidance.
- Practical experience with a Student Information System (SIS) and knowledge of registrar's office, college, and Ministry policies related to registration and enrolment reporting.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
