Position Overview
The Winter Massage Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional massage services to guests, leading invigorating warm-up sessions each morning, and maintaining the spa facilities at the lodge. This role requires a highly organized and efficient individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive 30-minute warm-up class each morning, excluding guest exchange days.
- Oversee the spa and fitness areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization of massage rooms.
- Prepare massage rooms to create a serene and welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage the scheduling of guest massages, including processing payments for completed services.
- Support the ski program by assisting with communication and emergency response.
- Collaborate with the lodge team to maintain cleanliness during meal services.
- Engage in the upkeep of common areas on exchange days to prepare for incoming guests.
- Be flexible in assisting with various lodge duties as required, promoting teamwork to achieve common goals.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, demonstrating safe workplace practices.
- Provide support to guests in field programs as necessary.
Qualifications
- Completion of a minimum of 1000 hours of certified massage training.
- Food Safe Certificate is preferred.
- Experience in a remote lodge setting is advantageous.

Work Environment
This position is situated in a remote area, requiring employees to arrange their own transportation to the lodge. The role involves physical demands, including the ability to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds. Employees may need to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
Compensation and Benefits
A competitive pay structure with commission opportunities will be provided, along with vacation pay. Additional benefits include meals and accommodation during work shifts, with eligibility for medical and dental benefits after a specified period of employment.
