We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team at Irpinia Kitchens. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist in Framing and Construction: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the guidance of experienced carpenters.
  • Clean and Organize: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Machine Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring they are properly maintained and operated.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of physical activity.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads and working in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail and manual dexterity to ensure accurate and efficient work.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
