Software Development in Test Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced software engineer with a passion for testing and quality assurance. As a Software Development in Test Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans, executing test cases, and identifying and reporting defects. You will also be responsible for creating and managing automation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products
  • Execute test cases and identify and report defects
  • Create and manage automation infrastructure
  • Review technical requirements to provide feedback on test specifications
  • Coordinate with internal teams to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Rigorously engage in hands-on regression testing to ensure quality and stability of software
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and work with other team members to implement solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of software development experience
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining test/automation infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience writing comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience with test management and bug tracking systems
