Financial Planner Role

As a Financial Planner at Scotiabank, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals. You will be responsible for developing and deepening client relationships by providing high-quality advice and service within the mass affluent market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth reviews for assigned clients to identify their financial needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans to help clients achieve their objectives.
  • Provide trusted financial advice to clients regarding their investments and retirement planning.
  • Build relationships with clients and partners to promote the development and sustainable growth of proprietary investment business.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory requirements to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements
  • Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
  • Successfully completed the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) designation and/or a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • Knowledgeable of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory environment.
  • Goal-oriented and entrepreneurial with the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
