Job Title: Full-Time Manager of Engineering

BWXT Precision Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the development of engineering processes, providing technical support and advice to other departments, and enabling the company to successfully manufacture components and assemblies to meet all customer requirements and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement engineering processes to ensure the successful manufacture of components and assemblies.
  2. Provide technical support and advice to other departments, including production, quality, and sales.
  3. Ensure compliance with all labour, human rights, safety, and environmental regulations and associated company policies.
  4. Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects.
  6. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  7. Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a strong background in process engineering and quality assurance.
  3. Proven track record of leading and managing teams to achieve business objectives.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
