Job Summary

Tri-Gen Construction is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair, overhaul, and maintenance of heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret work orders and technical manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in heavy equipment.
  • Adjust and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Write detailed service reports to document work completed.

Requirements

  • Minimum four years' experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Journeyman red seal certificate as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to remote locations.

Working Conditions

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will work in a fast-paced environment with heavy equipment and may be required to work in cramped or awkward positions. You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
