Job Title: Welder

Fleet Fix Truck Centre Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
  • Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)
  • Determine weldability of materials
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

Fleet Fix Truck Centre Inc. is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. The job requires physical demands, hand-eye coordination, sitting, and standing for extended periods. Steel-toed safety boots are required.
