Position Overview
Ignite Talent Solutions is representing a prestigious personal injury law firm that is seeking to expand its team with a dedicated and skilled attorney.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be tasked with the preparation of various legal documents such as factums, advisory letters, settlement conference notes, pleadings, and multiple applications. You will participate in examinations for discovery, case conferences, mediations, insurance conferences, motions, appeals, pre-trial conferences, trials, and arbitrations, among other hearings. Additionally, you will engage in comprehensive case management, including liability assessments, financial evaluations, and medical investigations.
Qualifications for Success
To qualify for this opportunity, you should possess a minimum of 4+ years of post-call experience, showcasing a solid understanding and passion for personal injury law. The ideal candidate will excel under pressure, effectively prioritize tasks, and adhere to deadlines. Strong collaborative skills, reliability, accountability, proactivity, and a positive attitude are essential. Furthermore, you must hold membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
