Position Overview

CHRYS is seeking a dedicated Home Support Worker to provide essential assistance to clients in their residences. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring support.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Non-smoking work environment.
  • Work is conducted in the client's home.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Assist clients with regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Support clients during meal times, including feeding assistance.
  • Plan and prepare therapeutic diets and nutritious meals.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support.
  • Administer personal care services as needed.
Certifications
  • CPR Certificate is required.
  • First Aid Certificate is required.
Target Audience
  • Focus on providing care for females and individuals with physical disabilities.
Safety and Security
  • Completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.
  • References will be required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Capable of managing repetitive tasks and working under pressure.
  • Must be able to lift weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
