About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Drop Cleaner. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Industrial Cleaning Equipment: Safely operate industrial vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, and other equipment to remove debris, dirt, and other refuse from our facilities.
  • Empty Waste Containers: Regularly empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Maintain Facilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as washing windows, interior walls, and ceilings, as well as contacting contractors for repairs and maintenance.
  • Conduct Safety Checks: Perform regular safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our employees and the security of our facilities.
  • Perform Other Routine Tasks: Assist with other routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair as needed.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks such as cleaning and maintenance.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks.
Requirements
  • Weight Handling: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as needed.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
