About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bar Attendant to join our team at Ginger Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure the bar area is clean and well-maintained, including washing glassware and storing beverages and food products.
  • Customer Service: Provide recommendations on drink selections, advise on wine choices, and take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
  • Inventory Management: Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock, ensuring we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring we operate within the law.
  • Preparation and Service: Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard, meeting customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
