Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Mason to join our team at REGIONAL SEWER AND WATERMAIN LTD.. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in concrete work, particularly in sewer and water main projects.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in concrete masonry.
Work Environment
  • Focus on sewer and water main installations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fill voids and smooth out imperfections on newly poured concrete.
  • Utilize power vibrators for effective concrete compaction.
  • Ensure the top surface of concrete is leveled according to specified grades and depths.
  • Apply desired finishes to concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
  • Install fixtures such as anchor bolts, steel plates, and door sills.
  • Apply hardening and sealing agents to enhance surface durability.
  • Conduct waterproofing and restoration of concrete surfaces.
  • Repair and resurface damaged sections of concrete structures.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Capable of handling heavy materials.
  • Comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
