Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Shipper-Receiver-Yard Worker to contribute to our expanding operations at our Distribution Centre. This role is structured as a 15-month contract, providing comprehensive benefits to cover a maternity leave.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Compensation:

Starting at $19.50/hour, increasing to $22.76/hour after six months.

Full insurance and benefits commence from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks within the RF processes established;
  • Accurately pick, stack, wrap, and stage outbound shipments to meet warehouse objectives;
  • Conduct cycle counts;
  • Manage stock replenishment;
  • Receive and locate products utilizing RF technology;
  • Follow the prescribed sequence of work to ensure timely delivery;
  • Uphold strict housekeeping standards in line with 5S protocols;
  • Work efficiently to achieve productivity, quality, and safety targets;
  • Adhere to HSE guidelines and C-TPAT policies;
  • Report unsafe working conditions promptly and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions;
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team;
  • Perform any additional tasks as requested by management.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a high school diploma or relevant experience;
  • Ability to meet daily deadlines and adapt to a dynamic work environment;
  • Proficiency in using RF technology;
  • Capable of reading and writing in English;
  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred;
  • Experience operating forklifts is advantageous;
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods;
  • Strong teamwork skills while also being self-motivated;
  • Effective communication skills and basic computer knowledge;
  • Reliable and punctual;
  • Capability to lift weights ranging from 5 to 50 pounds repeatedly.
