Role Overview

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality legal services, supporting the General Counsel and other senior attorneys in the provision of legal guidance across various industrial projects.

You will report directly to the head of the Legal Department, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and project teams to support diverse technological and scientific initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing expert legal counsel on patent portfolio strategies.
  • Drafting and negotiating agreements related to research and development, as well as intellectual property licenses.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a reputable law firm or a significant corporate environment.
  • A robust background in chemicals or petrochemicals, with experience in the oil or chemical sectors considered advantageous.
  • Current licensure and good standing to practice law in the United States, Canada, or the European Union.
  • A degree in Organic Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is strongly preferred, though not mandatory.
